Tacoma Community College is located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, just south of Seattle with a beautiful view of Mt. Tacoma Community College (TCC) is pleased to invite applications for the Engineering Professor position. This position prepares and teaches courses in at least four of these six areas: statics, dynamics, thermodynamics, mechanics of materials, engineering graphics (SolidWorks), and/or engineering design; develops and revises curriculum as necessary; actively participate in departmental and college initiatives; and develops and participates in efforts to recruit students into the engineering program. Qualified candidates will have a Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics or other closely related programs. Ph.D in Engineering and experience teaching at a secondary or post-secondary level is desirable.

This is a full-time, temporary faculty position contracted through June 2018. Classes assigned to the successful candidate may be on campus, hybrid online, or fully online with an online learning management system (Canvas) component for some class materials. . Placement on the faculty salary schedule will be commensurate with educational background and experience.
