Job Description

As our Business Systems Analyst, you'll act as the liaison between our IT team and our distribution center business units. You'll coordinate and communicate functional requirements of the business units and technical solutions with IT capability resources by designing and documenting basic functional specifications. You'll collaborate with team members and partner with the business units to perform technical analysis, create and maintain context processes, and system diagrams. You'll also validate that the system design meets the business process requirements and perform triage and troubleshooting activities as well as provide insights to the project. In addition, you'll perform testing activities including construction of test plans/scripts and validate test requests; configure reports and package solution to unique business requirements.

Requirements for this position includes:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or other relevant field
• Minimum 2 years' work experience in an IT or Business-related role
• 2 years' additional experience in lieu of a degree
• Demonstrated team player behavior
• Good communication skills both written and spoken
• Advanced ability to navigate MS Office applications; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
• Willing to work overtime to support the business and testing/implementation activities. (Weekends and holidays)
• Basic understanding of product flow through an automated distribution center (Northridge a plus)
• Basic understanding of interface protocol messaging between a WMS and WCS
• Basic understanding of PLC communication between WCS and conveyor/ sorter hardware
• Learning ability to navigate WCS applications user interface and log files
• Strong information seeking skills and drive to make things happen
• Ability to understand challenges or underlying concerns, share ideas, and develops effective responses or elevate to higher management
• Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a diverse group
• Ability to network, influences, and utilizes internal and external resources
• Ability to pass a 7-year background investigation
