The School of Communication Science and Disorders
The School of Communication Science and Disorders is seeking a full-time research assistant to aid in data collection for a study investigating a computer-based treatment for children who use cochlear implants. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling and administering outcome assessments to children. Primary responsibilities include: * Coordinating with school administrators and caregivers to schedule testing sessions * Administering the outcome assessments * Digitally scanning up the assessment data * Scoring the assessments * Backing up the assessment data The successful candidate will collect data at both the Clarke School for Hearing and Speech and Nemour's Children's Hospital and will need to travel between the two locations.
Bachelor's degree and previous experience working with children are required. Previous experience with human-subjects research is preferred. An offer of this position is contingent upon a successful criminal background check. This position requires an individual who has experience working with elementary school-aged children (5- to 7-years-old).
Start Date: July 1, 2016
Anticipated Salary Range
This is an OPS/temporary Job.
Hours are flexible, and will be determined based on the availability of school administrators and children's caregivers
Criminal Background Check
This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check, to include fingerprinting.
