FSU Childcare & Early Learning Programs
To assist Lead Teacher in the caring, nurturing, and teaching of young children.
Assist young children, 6 weeks to 5 years of age with toileting, washing hands, getting to sleep, and waking up. Assist and supervise children on the playground and in activity centers. Talk with and engage children when they are in activity centers or involved in activities on the playground. Assist teachers with housekeeping tasks such as wiping down tables, cleaning the floors, etc. Provide feedback to the Lead Teacher about any individual child's needs. Encourage the independence of children. Assist other staff members as needed.
High school diploma/equivalent, and experience working with children.

Degree or currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Special Education, Child Development, or Family and Child Sciences.
Completion of State Mandated 45 Clock Hour Training and First Aid/CPR.
This is an OPS/temporary Job.

This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check, to include fingerprinting.
