DOM Director of Electrophysiology

The Division of Cardiology in the Department of Medicine at the University of California, Irvine is the process of recruiting a new Director of Electrophysiology. The successful candidate must qualify for a full-time medical faculty position at the rank(s) of the Health Science Associate or full Professor in the Department of Medicine.
Minimum requirements include: board certification in clinical electrophysiology and cardiovascular medicine, strong clinical background in electrophysiology and complex ablations, new technologies, excellence in patient care and teaching, a strong research portfolio, and a commitment to scholarly participation in the clinical research programs of the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine.
The candidate's research may focus on basic, translational, clinical, or epidemiology (preferably in the field of electrophysiology)
The Division of Cardiology/Department of Medicine is growing rapidly and will also require an experienced individual who can help with our outreach endeavors and take the lead in our plans to build an academic center of excellence for arrhythmia care
