Ithaca College's Department of Modern Languages and Literatures invites applicants for a one-year non-renewable position in Spanish at the Assistant Professor level, starting in the Fall semester of the 2017-2018 academic year. The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and be willing to teach all levels of Spanish (language, literature, and/or culture). We invite candidates with innovative and/or dynamic critical approaches and scholarly interests. The candidate will be expected to teach 12 credits per semester, 24 credits per year.
Position/Job Qualifications
Candidates must have native or near native fluency in Spanish and English and a completed Ph.D. in an appropriate scholarly field (e.g. Spanish, Comparative Literature).
