Job Summary The Office of Real Estate manages the real property leasing, acquisition and disposition process on behalf of the University. This activity extends throughout the State of Georgia and includes international study abroad properties. The UGA Real Estate Foundation is a non-profit supporting organization of the University. The Real Estate Foundation currently owns over 2,000 beds of student housing, multiple parking decks, multiple research buildings and a student center. Reporting directly to the Executive Director of the UGA Real Estate Foundation, Inc./Director of Real Estate Management, the Real Estate Manager will support the activities of both entities and assist with a broad re-engineering effort that will improve internal processes and provide enhanced service to our internal and external customers. The Real Estate Manager's initial responsibilities will include the following: Create and/or implement a project tracking system; manage the due diligence process for real estate related transactions; create and manage landlord/tenant database; manage the day to day needs of our internal and external customers. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree and experience in real estate management or related work.
