Degree and Area of Specialization: Bachelors degree required



Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience: Familiarity with financial aid, specifically federal and private student loan industry. Previous experience working with college students of diverse backgrounds. Must have strong organizational and planning skills. Also must have strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively. Successful candidates will also possess a working knowledge of basic computer programs such as Word and Excel.



Position Summary: The Student Loan Coordinator is dedicated to developing initiatives and efficient procedures to aid in streamlining the application, awarding, disbursing, and reconciliation of all private and Title IV student loans. Under general direction, the Student Loan Coordinator oversees the appropriate and compliant preparation, processing and timely submission of student loan programs for the University, including all private ($23,000,000 portfolio) and Title IV student loans ($180,000,000 portfolio).
