Degree and Area of Specialization: Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience: Familiarity with financial aid, specifically Title IV rules and regulations and the student loan industry. Previous experience working with college students of diverse backgrounds. Must have strong organizational and planning skills. Also must have strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively. Successful candidates will possess a working knowledge of basic computer programs such as Word and Excel.
Position Summary: The Federal Awards Administrator is dedicated to developing initiatives and efficient procedures to aid in streamlining the application, awarding, disbursing, and reconciliation of Title IV funds. Under general direction, the Federal Awards Coordinator oversees the appropriate and compliant preparation, verification, processing, and timely submission of federal financial aid programs for the University, including all Title IV funding.
