Job Description

iXsystems, an industry leader in open source storage solutions (FreeNAS, TrueNAS, PC-BSD), is on the lookout for a committed, experienced and enthusiastic Customer Support Administrator to provide front-line customer support and scheduling for the iXsystems customer support team. We are therefore looking for individuals who are highly driven, methodical, organized, and able to work closely with the Support Team in dealing with a wide variety of customer issues. The successful candidate will have a strong customer focus, good telephone skills, and the ability to understand technical language and accurately transcribe customer issues into support tickets. Excellent fluency in the english language is a requirement. Fluency in other languages is not required, but is definitely a plus.

The successful candidate will also have the following skills:

* Strong interpersonal skills along with the ability to track and complete numerous simultaneous tasks

* Strongly schedule-driven focus and the ability to manage a calendar of support calls and customer call-back lists

* Good Time Management skills

* Good communication skills, including the ability to transcribe highly technical conversations accurately and succinctly

* Excellent computer skills with the ability to deal with multiple time tracking and ticket management systems
