General Summary:

Provide Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI) to children diagnosed with autism, as well as utilizing Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) principals with all clients. The BCBA will work to increase functional skills and decrease behaviors that negatively impact learning and daily living.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage a client caseload by completing behavioral assessments, including the VB-MAPP, ABLSS-R and functional analysis.

Develop treatment goals, protocols and data collection systems.

Provide client supervision by reviewing, summarizing and analyzing data.

Plan and attend relevant in-service and continuing education programs.

Complete trainings, provide feedback and conduct treatment integrity checks for front line staff.

Complete initial authorization and reauthorization reports in a timely manner, while maintaining active status with a variety of insurer panels, licensing and credentialing agencies.

Provide parent support and education and consultive services with client treatment team members; e.g. community educators, medical doctors, etc.

Consult with University personnel, parents and others as neede in the process of delivering therapies.

Assist in the supervision and evaluation of graduate and undergraduate trainees.

Keep abreast of in-service training and educational programs in relevant therapeutic areas and maintain current credentials and licensing.

Prepare write-ups and reports. Qualifications:
A Master's degree in psychology or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required, preference given to emphasis of applied behavioral analysis and specialization in autism.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) required.

Limited License Psychologist (LLP) preferred.

One year of experience with individuals on the Autism Spectrum and their families is preferred.

Ability to work within a multi-therapy team approach is preferred.

Experience or knowledge of group facilitation and education is preferred.
