To help support the work of the University, we have an immediate opening for a Student Accounts Coordinator.  The Student Accounts Coordinator reports to the Director of Student Accounts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

This individual is responsible for assisting the Director and Associate Director of Student Accounts in the administration of all functions related to the Office of Student Accounts.  Maintain confidentiality of student records as it relates to FERPA.  Detailed duties include, but are not limited to, processing student payments, posting miscellaneous charges and fees, assisting with monthly student billing, managing the bookstore charge program with the University Bookstore, post all financial aid disbursements, manages the postings of all housing charges and deposits, meal plans and parking passes, manages the posting of Admission deposits, deferred deposits and forfeited deposits, processes degree conferrals, works closely with the Office of International Programs and is responsible for all 3rd party sponsored student billing.

Qualifications: 

Previous experience with accounts receivable preferred – especially within a higher education environment. Associate’s degree preferred.  Previous cash handling experience required and familiarity with computerized accounts receivable systems preferred.
