3rd senior administrative official in line responsible for directing a dept, division, or college and could report to either an Associate Director or Director.
The Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions plays a leading role in the function and operation of the Office of Graduate Admissions. Reporting directly to the Assistant Dean for Graduate International Programs and the Director of Graduate Admissions the candidate will manage the day to day operations of the entire unit, to include but not limited to, the admissions funnel in its entirety, the processing of applications, and the federal financial aid aspects of graduate programs. The candidate is required to properly focus assets of the unit in areas as needed so as to maximize the ability to process applications for the universities Graduate College. The candidate will have overall decision making authority when the Assistant Dean is not available and will need an extensive knowledge of Graduate Programs, computer processes, and programs that the Office of Graduate Admissions utilizes. The candidate will have general supervisory responsibilities daily and will be required to plan and execute professional development opportunities for the unit members. The candidate will interact with all Deans/Associate/Assistant Deans of The Graduate College as well as prospective applicants and on campus stakeholders. The position requires the ability to create and manage extensive reporting to the Assistant Dean with respect to various aspects of the admissions funnel.

Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of related work experience OR 7+ years related work experience.

Expertise in using Banner and SAS required.
Expertise in using Excel preferred.
Previous experience in Georgia BOR admissions processing preferred.
