RESEARCH SPECIALIST A
Duties: This position is for the Molecular Pathology and Imaging Core in the Division of Gastroenterology. The duties include: sectioning and processing tissue, performing immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence experiments for center members and their labs as needed; assist in the training or center members and their labs in the areas of immunostaining, microscopy, imaging, photoshop, laser capture microscopy and tissue microarray construction; detailed maintenance of lab records; adherence to the strictest of quality assurance standards.
Position is contingent on continued funding.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 0 to 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential., Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively to faculty and staff.
