Job Description
To provide support services to the United States Department of Justice. The incumbent serves as a Program Coordinator, providing assistance to the training teams. Practical knowledge of a wide range of training and administrative methods, operations, practices and procedures to provide a broad range of technical and administrative support for legal training programs. Well-rounded knowledge of information technology applications to carry out assignments, generate reports, training materials for classroom learning and distance learning, and to troubleshoot common IT applications; applications and systems include, for example, LearnDoJ, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SNAP, SharePoint and Turning Point. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, with tact and skill in persuading faculty and experts to comply with procedural requirements. Skill in developing contacts to support the agency's legal education activities and effectively and diplomatically work with a range of persons including federal judges, senior department officials, United States Attorneys and others. General knowledge of protocol in dealing with senior staff and preparing for course presentations by senior staff. Knowledge of the procedures for safeguarding national security information.


Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree, or a bachelor's degree and 2 years relevant program experience.
