Job Description

Paul J. Ford and Company is seeking a Structural Engineer for the Columbus, Ohio office.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Perform structural designs and analysis calculations for wireless telecommunications sites for both new and existing structures and foundations.

Reinforce and/or modify the design of the structures is also a large part of the work.

Read, analyze and understand the specific project scope of the work.

Attend and perform site visits when needed.

Work with licensed engineers to review and revise the calculations and designs as needed.

Provide assistance in the preparation of proposals.

Have the ability to assist other department as needed whenever workloads change.

Candidates must have a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, concentration in structures, two to five years of experience, or a recent graduate with advance knowledge in concrete and steel design. A licensed PE is preferred but not required. Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
