Assistant Professor of Health and Human Performance
Ferrum College is seeking applicants for an Assistant Professor of Health and Human Performance tenure-track position to start Fall 2017. The successful candidate will be expected to have a Ph.D. in Athletic Training, Kinesiology or a related field, with expertise and/or experience in athletic training and coaching. A demonstrated record of college teaching experience is desirable. Responsibilities: TEACHING: Courses in athletic training, coaching, and health related fitness, as well as other core courses in the HHP curriculum. Advising students and supervising internships. SCHOLARSHIP: Providence evidence of scholarship, publication, and/or presentation activity through appropriate professional venues and involvement in scholarly projects with faculty and students. SERVICE: Participate in College, School, Program, and disciplinary leadership.
