The School of Management at Bucknell University seeks a full-time, visiting faculty member in the field of Strategic Management. This two-semester position will extend from the beginning of Fall 2017 through the end of Spring 2018 and will comprise three courses per term. The successful candidate must be able to teach multiple sections of the senior-level undergraduate course in Strategy. Other courses will be determined based on the successful candidate's area of expertise.

The School offers innovative professional education in the context of one of the nation's leading liberal arts universities. We believe that an education that combines technical skills and deep intellectual exploration is the best preparation for thoughtful and capable leaders. We seek faculty members capable of contributing to this mission. We also embrace the teacher-scholar model. Although visiting faculty are not required to engage in research, we look with favor on those making creative intellectual contributions to their field.

A record of excellence in undergraduate teaching is required. Qualified candidates will have completed or be near completion of the Ph.D. degree or equivalent. Persons with substantial professional experience and holding a master's degree will also be considered and are encouraged to apply. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Management Programs at Bucknell:
The approximately 550 students in the School of Management choose from among four highly interdisciplinary programs that combine courses in the various disciplines of management with offerings in the arts, humanities, natural and social sciences, and engineering.
