Position requires a broad knowledge of Computer Science and one of the STEM fields taught at NJCU, as well as the ability to program using one or more high-level languages and perform simulations/modelling of topics in chemistry, biology, and/or physics. Successful candidate will be expected to conduct cross-disciplinary collaborative research with one or more other science departments, and mentor students in topics such as computational science and simulations/modeling. Highly desirable would be expertise in scientific/industrial applications, such as robotics or cyber security. In extraordinary cases, as determined by the University, a terminal degree will not be required.
