HR, Payroll and Benefits Specialist
Wells College is seeking qualified candidates for the position of HR, Payroll and Benefits Specialist. This position will provide primary administrative support for the human resources functions and the director of human resources and business services; process and maintain student employment records, assist with the College’s benefit program and ensure that the office runs in an efficient and customer-service based manner in support of the College’s mission and goals. Successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills; computer literacy including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, HRIS and payroll systems; ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy; and abilities to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle confidential information in a professional manner. The position requires an A.A.S. or four years of experience preferably in higher education or human resources. This position is currently classified as non-exempt, and is eligible for college benefits.
