Graduate Admissions Processing Coordinator
Performs a variety of professional and administrative duties in support of the day-to-day operations of a function, program, and/or dept; assists in program planning & development; interpret, monitor, & analyze information regarding operating policies & procedures; administers budgets; & coordinate academic and/or staff personnel matters. Performs professional administrative support duties; not a secretarial position.
The Graduate Admissions Processing Coordinator is responsible for the day to day operations of application processing within the Office of Graduate Admissions. This position reports directly to the Assistant Dean for Graduate International Programs and Director of Graduate Admissions for The Graduate College. The candidate will manage a group of application processors in a fast paced dynamic environment requiring substantial attention to detail, extensive computer operation knowledge and an ability to meet very tight deadlines. The candidate will liaise daily with Graduate Admissions Counselors, the Assistant Dean, the offices Assistant Director, processing personnel within the department and various stakeholders on the KSU campus. This position will have a supervisory role of the processing team.
The candidate is expected to, upon hire, to immediately begin to manage the daily flow of documents, both actual and electronic, that make up the application process to The Graduate College. The candidate will have superior knowledge in Microsoft Office products and Banner; as well as a working knowledge of Radius.
The candidate will also be expected to process applications and associated documents; manage the work flow of the processors, identify areas of opportunity for process improvement and plan accordingly. The candidate will also manage the unit purchasing card.

Bachelor's degree and 6 years of related experience OR a High School diploma and 3 years of college coursework and 7 years of related experience OR High School diploma and 10 years.
Bachelor's degree and 4 years experience in a related field preferred.
Associate's Degree and 6 years experience in a related field required.
A Driver's License is Required for this position.
