I. JOB OVERVIEW

Job Description Summary:

A one-year postdoctoral position is available in the lab of Dr. Adam Smith, an assistant professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at the George Washington University (http://departments.columbian.gwu.edu/biology/) in Washington, D.C. The lab is looking for a postdoctoral scientist to study the ecology and behavior of local bees in the Washington DC area. The position will involve a combination of field and lab work, along with opportunities to mentor undergraduate and graduate students and develop new research projects. Funding is available for one year with continuation dependent on satisfactory performance and available funding. Minimum Qualifications:

Requires a PhD in the field or in a related area.
