Job Responsibilities:

The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, invites applications for a full-time Assistant Director of Enrollment Management within its Graduate College. Located in historic Charleston, South Carolina, The Citadel has been ranked for the sixth consecutive year by U.S. News and World Report as the top public college in the South among master's-granting institutions. 

This position will assist prospective students seeking information about a particular graduate program, certificate, or evening undergraduate degree program for assigned academic school. Responsible for actively reaching out to prospects using prescribed engagement communication plan to achieve CGC enrollment goals. Will create and implement recruitment strategies to generate new leads with academic units and achieve enrollment goals. Attends educational fairs as needed and represents the Graduate College at public events. 

Assists applicants through the application, admission, and enrollment process. Responsible for timely and accurate processing of applications, admissions decisions, and related incoming data in an applicant's file by academic school. Will collect, review, and maintain student information on all applicants in an assigned academic school. Ensures that missing requirements for applications are collected with follow-up contact to applicants. Manages application review process through coordination with academic units and administers admissions decisions. Facilitates the enrollment process for accepted students. Participates in a comprehensive student outreach strategy for prospects, applicants, and students in an assigned academic school. Will assist with registration for students in the graduate and evening undergraduate programs of study by assigned academic school. Must work to solve student issues and problems as they relate to the application, registration, advising, or other problems by assigned academic school. Ensures proper communication of information and procedures. Makes appropriate referrals to academic units and student support offices.

 

Minimum and Additional Requirements:

Must have a Bachelor's Degree and some graduate coursework in higher education, student affairs, or another related field. At least three (3) years of experience in higher education or related field required.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Higher Education or Student Affairs. Experience in enrollment management. Experience with Banner.
