The Office of Admissions at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Student Services Specialist I. Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Administrative Specialist IV (evaluations) and must also be in compliance with directives issued by the Assistant Director (Processing), Director of Admissions Operations and the Executive Director of Admissions. This position is responsible for the evaluation of college credentials (both foreign and domestic) as well as foreign high school credentials. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: * Verify authenticity of academic credentials, including accreditation status of schools and validity of test results. * Input and update application data to EIS as appropriate. * Comply with University directives and standards. * Initiate appropriate communication by correspondence, e-mail, fax or by phone, as appropriate.
