An associate’s degree, and three (3) years of full-time industry experience, which must include welding, are required. A valid welding certification is required no later than one (1) year from the date of appointment. A bachelor’s degree, current welding certificate, teaching experience, and CNC experience are preferred.


This full-time, ten-month faculty position is in the Welding Technology Program of MVCC’s Physical Sciences, Engineering and Applied Technologies Department (PSAT).

Responsibilities include instruction for a wide range of courses in the program and other duties within the Department as well as the College as assigned. Candidates must have the ability to teach welding technology related courses in both the classroom and the laboratory setting. The successful candidate will also collaborate with other faculty to support the program, acquire materials, and repair equipment.
