ANTICIPATED SALARY RANGE: Salary commensurate with experience within state guidelines
HOURS: 40/week; must be willing to teach day or evening classes
In this challenging role, you will support the Mechatronics department at Greenville Technical College by developing and delivering instruction/training programs to GTC students in the areas of mechanical, electrical, and robotics concepts. The Mechatronics program is primarily located on the Brashier Campus, but is a part of the new campus, The Center for Manufacturing Innovation, adjacent to and in partnership with Clemson University's International Center for Automotive Research. Duties may include any or all of the following:
-Instructional management & development
-Review and selection of textbooks
-College and community service
-Other duties, as assigned

An associate degree with six (6) years of experience within Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical, and/or Electrical Technologies; OR a high school diploma or equivalent with eight (8) years of related field experience in mechanical and electrical to include motor control, PLC, robotic, and AC/DC circuits.
-Extensive knowledge in Industrial Maintenance, Electronics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technology.
-Knowledge and experience in setting up and delivering laboratory exercises.
-Mechatronics Level I and II certifications.
-Experience in industrial automation, implementation of new automation systems, preferably "digital factory" or "industry 4.0" technologies.
-Bachelor's degree with a major in Industrial Maintenance, Electronics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field
