Adjunct Faculty - Biology (Part-Time)
The Department of Biology at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) invites outstanding applicants for an adjunct position in the School of Science. The successful applicant will teach a double section (approximately 48 students) of our majors course Biology of the Eukaryotic Cell (BIO 211) during Fall 2017. This course is an introduction to the nomenclature, origin, and function of essential molecules and cellular components of living organisms. Structural and functional characteristics of various eukaryotic cells demonstrate that the molecular and cellular levels of organization are intimately integrated. The course has been scheduled for Tuesday and Friday 8:00AM - 9:20AM (lecture/discussion), Tuesday 9:30AM - 12:20PM (lab), and Friday 9:30AM - 12:20PM (lab). This course is offered during the fall, spring, and summer semesters, so there may be opportunities for continued employment for the successful candidate.
