The University of Colorado Colorado Springs is seeking a half-time instructor in Asian Philosophy for the 2017-2018 academic year. Teaching load will be 2/2, preferably including one course taught on "Introduction to Asian Philosophies" each semester and one upper-division course on a specialized area within Asian Philosophy each semester (e.g., teach "Indian Philosophy" in Fall 2017, "Buddhist Philosophy" in Spring 2018). A Ph.D is preferred, but we will consider ABD Ph.D students with relevant teaching experience in the advertised areas. Continuing appointment beyond the 2017-2018 academic year is yet to be determined.
