Anticipated Hiring Range:
Grade 17 - Step 1; Salary according to the bargaining unit agreement (MTA Classified/Technical)

General Summary of Position:
This being an internal opportunity, only current UML Employees, irrespective of Bargaining units are eligible to apply for this position.

The basic purpose of this work is to provide supervisory support in connection with assigned duties within the mailroom services operation. Maintain liaison with faculty/staff and students, respond to inquiries, compile data, and perform related work as required.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):
Education/Experience: Three years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, experience in office management, office administration, business administration or business management, or (B) any equivalent combination of the required experience and education; however educational substitutions will only be permitted for a maximum of two years of the required experience. High school graduate/GED (or equivalent) required.

-Ability to understand, explain and apply the laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures, specifications, standards and guidelines of US postal regulations.
-Experience working with commercial print production equipment, and design software (Adobe Product Line).
-Ability to maintain accurate records and produce reports.
-Knowledge of the types of general equipment used in mailroom and duplicating operations.
-Valid driver license

Other Considerations:
-Associates Degree preferred
-Ability to deal tactfully with others
-Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written expression
