Adjunct Faculty Open Rank - Anthropology
FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Candidate should be prepared to teach undergraduate Anthropology course(s) particularly Introduction to Anthropology. Please note that Introduction to Anthropology is a four field course. Additional duties may include student advisement, committee participation and evidence of scholarships.
Performs teaching, research and guidance duties in area(s) of expertise. Shares responsibility for committee and department assignments including administrative, supervisory, and other functions.
For Adjunct Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor:
Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent. Also required to teach successfully.
For Adjunct Lecturer:
Bachelor's degree in area(s) of expertise, and the ability to teach successfully.
Candidates should be able to express a strong commitment to teaching, show evidence of scholarly promise and a willingness to contribute to furthering the mission of the college.
Prior college level teaching experience and evidence of scholarly activity preferred. Also required: demonstrate outstanding/superior teaching skills, ability to teach successfully, and the ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution.
Adjunct Lecturer: $70.53 - $87.80/hr
Adjunct Assistant Professor: $80.00 - $94.96/hr
Adjunct Associate Professor: $86.25 - $105.69/hr
Adjunct Professor: $95.67 - $116.44/hr
Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
