Working Title: First Year Studies Instructor

Position Summary: Full-time instructor in First Year Studies. The instructor will teach developmental writing and first-year experience courses and advise students.
- Teach 12-15 hours per semester.
- Serve as academic advisor to students in first-year experience courses.
- Hold regular office hours.
- Work collaboratively with faculty and staff to complete departmental projects.
General Days/Hours: 8 a.m.-5 p.m., some evenings may be required

Knowledge/Skills/Ability: Knowledge of English language structure, grammar and composition. Knowledge of current pedagogical methods. Good oral and written communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications: A Master’s degree in English or education with a minimum of six graduate hours in English
