Position Summary: This position will fully implement and develop the Structural Genomics Consortium Director's vision - the Chemical Probes Portal or CPP, a nascent web-based resource for researchers who utilize chemical probes, (Nature Chemical Biology 2015, 11, 536). This position will provide oversight and management of the CPP; develop and coordinate communication strategies to offer CPP as a useful and essential resource for the research community; be substantially engaged in support of regular academic, educational, research, or public-service/extension activities of the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy and UNC Chapel Hill; be responsible for creating and disseminating knowledge through either direct or indirect research collaboration that are integral to and uniquely supportive of ongoing research; and be supportive as required of instruction, student success, and/or the direction or coordination of education or academic-supportive activities.

Education Requirements: Ph.D. in Chemical Biology or related field.

Qualification and Experience: -Relevant research experience at the post-doctoral level. -Three (3) or more years experience developing and managing data collection projects in a small business environment. -Ability to carry out all needs of a new organization from administrative tasks to strategic planning. -Experience managing multiple team members to complete projects within defined budgets and tight timelines. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including clearly visualizing and communicating complex information. -Demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders, both scientific and general. -Detailed knowledge of public funding systems.
