Unit Job Summary: The Associate Director of Alumni Relations - East Coast is a key member of the Alumni Relations team within the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and is responsible for providing alumni relationship management and support to multiple alumni forums/groups on the East Coast. The Associate Director collaborates with team members and other departments to build relationships with alumni, coordinate regional activities, support alumni clubs, and increase engagement. This position is located in New York, NY PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Relationship Management: Meet one-on-one with alumni to identify interests, cultivate engagement potential, and connect alumni to the School. Volunteer Management: Support East Coast alumni clubs and other volunteer committees to increase alumni engagement and regional activities; coordinate with the Senior Associate Director in key markets: New York, Boston, and Washington DC. Event Coordination: develop and plan small events as a construct for engagement, working with a central events team on regional and flagship events, and supporting School/department events as needed. Partnerships: Collaborate with Admissions, Career Services, Development, Student Services and the University Alumni Association on events and programs, as needed. Assist with the research and development of new programs and events to increase regional alumni engagement. Utilize extensive knowledge of internal systems and databases to keep accurate records, analyze alumni data, and publicize events. Contribute to the general advancement of alumni relations at Chicago Booth.

Unit Education: Bachelor's degree required.

Unit Experience: A minimum three years of experience in alumni relations, development, staffing volunteer organization, or corporate sales or marketing required.
