Asst/Assoc Director of Regional Recruitment- New England

This position will be based in the New England area and require periodic trips to Dickinson's campus in Carlisle, PA Essential Functions
  • Manage recruitment territory by:
    • Building and maintaining relationships with regional secondary school and independent counselors, Dickinson Admissions Volunteer Society members, and current parents and alumni
    • Planning admissions travel and recruitment;including high school visits, college fairs, receptions, and meetings with secondary school and independent counselors, students, families, and community based organizations
    • Using data-informed decision making for market development and management
    • Conducting off-campus interviews and information sessions
    • Plan and attend off-campus admissions events in all areas of regional responsibility
  • Evaluate admissions files by:
    • Completing and reviewing candidate applications
    • Making admission and scholarship recommendations to the committee
    • Serving on the admissions committee
  • Manage projects essential to the functional areas of the admissions office
  • Represent the college by:
    • Presenting admissions workshops, keynotes, panels, and case studies
    • Serving on local, state, and/or national committees
    • Maintaining an active membership in the regional ACAC and the New England Area Regional Representatives (NEARR)
    • Attend, as appropriate, all enrollment and/or advancement events in the regional territory
Other Functions:
  • Coordinate regional members of the Dickinson Admissions Volunteer Society
  • Work with admissions communications and operations to market specific and emerging populations within regional recruitment territory
  • Provide bi-weekly reports to supervisor
  • Actively seeks professional development opportunities to gain additional knowledge and expertise in the field of enrollment management
  • Additional duties as assigned
