The College of Science (COS) at the University of North Texas will be a new college effective May 2017 and will consist of the departments of Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics and the interdisciplinary program Teach North Texas. The college offers Bachelor's, Master's and PhD degrees in science and mathematics, currently serving more than 3,800 majors. Our faculty are world-class researchers in science and mathematics, and the college faculty and staff work together to provide excellent support to our students in their academic education and professional development.
The COS Dean's Office at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Research Analyst III-College Research Officer. Responsibilities of the position primarily focus on post-award tasks, particularly review and approval of externally funded grants. Other post-award tasks are done in collaboration with the University's Central Office of Grants and Contracts Administration. Pre-award responsibilities focus on assisting newer investigators and particular types of submissions.

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in business administration, accounting, finance, auditing, public administration, or related field and four years professional business administration work experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications:
* Masters degree
* CRA or other research certification
* Higher ed grant experience
