Regional Director of Operations- Ohio
The Director of Operations - Ohio ( home-based office) accountable for driving and expanding business performance for the Ohio operations. The Director of Operations - Ohio is a proven leader, who has demonstrated exemplary performance in the areas of strategic planning, customer focus, maintaining high quality standards, teamwork, identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities, understanding our industry and the Ohio market, the regulatory environment and representing the company in all manner of venues from industry meetings, and staff and family member meetings.
The Director of Operations-reports directly to the Vice President of Operations - Mid-West.
The Director of Operations must also develop and expand key external relationships that will have both an immediate and future impact on region performance.
The Director of Operations will demonstrate the highest level of business ethics and personal integrity. On a foundation of earned trust and confidence, and will establish himself or herself as a dynamic leader, who excels in employee relations, and is able to inspire, develop and motivate leadership in others.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following represents the primary responsibilities of the role and are not listed in order of priority as performance in each is absolutely necessary. Further, this is not an exhaustive list as all requirements and expectations are not represented here.
Revenue Generation - For the region with keen attention being given to all its contributing elements include driving census and instituting changes as required by shifts in reimbursement.
Insuring Clinical Quality - Takes place within operation. An uncompromising commitment to the highest quality standards will be expressed in the partnership between Clinical Operations and Operations at all levels.
Cost Leadership - Maintaining expenses in line with our revenues is essential to our profitability and our sustainability. The Director of Operations-Ohio is P&L accountable as measured by EDITDAR.
Strategic & Financial Planning - The Director of Operations is one of the leaders of strategic thinking and planning in the Ohio market with specific knowledge and understanding of the Ohio Market.
Capital Budgets - We continuously make prudent capital choices and improvements to our facilities. Those choices and effectively managing the resulting projects in the Ohio Market are essential to future performance
- Minimum of 5 years of skilled nursing general management/P&L responsibility over multiple skilled nursing facilities (Ohio experience required)
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a regional/multifacility setting
- Examples of exemplary, measurable business performance consistent with our Vision, Mission and Values
- Clear demonstrations of customer and quality focus
- Labor relations
- Bachelor's Degree (MBA preferred)
- Ohio Administrators Licensure (or ability to be licensed in state of Ohio)
Location and Travel
- Home office set up
- Travel to facility locations within Ohio.
