Duties: Under the directive of the risk center academic co-directors, the risk center managing director will be responsible for managing the ongoing operational aspects of the risk center, managing and administrating the two major funding components of the center (grant-supported sponsored research and corporate sponsorships) in addition to working to bring in future funding from these components, and lastly for performing associated research and disseminating the research results within the academic community and more broadly. Significant responsibility will be dedicated toward ensuring the ongoing and proposed research efforts assist in meeting the goals of the risk center strategic direction and long-term plan, including the development and coordination with any external research partners associated with the research.
The position reports to the two academic directors, who will lead the annual review of this position.
Qualifications: Highly advanced professional discipline. M.D., Ph. D., Law degree or equivalent doctoral degree and 7 years to 10 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
