The Technology Trainer is responsible to the CTLT Manager. Responsibilities include supporting the college's learning management system, administrative systems, software applications and web portal through training and one-on-one assistance of students, faculty, staff and administrators.
Design, develop and deliver training sessions on the college's learning management system, administrative systems, software applications and web portal.
Provide one-on-one training assistance to students, faculty, staff and administrators.
Develop and maintain appropriate resources on the Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology Web page,including training manuals, job aids and tutorials.
Act as a subject matter expert to the Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology and the college as a whole to establish best practices for using the college's learning management system, administrative systems and software applications.
Partner with Instructional Designer/Trainers to review new online courses for quality and comprehensive use of course management tools. Share suggestions for improvement with faculty.
Participate on committees as appropriate, as a means to gather and integrate information as it relates to the development and training of the college's Learning Management System (LMS), administrative systems and software applications.
Provide support to college-wide initiatives such as New Student Orientation (NSO) and Faculty and Student Tech (FAST).
Partner with IT, Online Learning, and Instruction to lead and support implementation of emerging technologies at the college.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree required. Masters in Training and Development or Instructional Technology preferred.
Two years of related work experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of database and/or administrative systems.
Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office suite applications.
Demonstrate knowledge of Learning Management Systems.
At least two years of experience designing and facilitating training.
