Job Summary This is the third level in a group of five progressively higher administrative/support jobs. This position facilitates educational field placements for the College of Education. This position seeks advice and leadership from supervisor for complex issues or those requiring authorization such as deviation from policy. It requires independent judgment in solving common problems. Applicants should have strong cultural competency self-awareness, knowledge, and skills, as this position requires communication with diverse individuals and communities on a range of contemporary multicultural issues in educational field placements. This position serves as a primary liaison between academic programs and the schools and community partners that host their students for educational field experiences. The majority of communication is maintained by phone and email, and the ability to convey a high level of professionalism and exceptional customer service by phone and email is essential. This position processes and tracks a high volume of data using Microsoft Excel and Access and maintains field experience databases. Attention to details and accuracy with data entry are essential. In addition, this position frequently deals with issues of a highly confidential nature and must be able to maintain confidentiality and use discretion effectively. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent and two years of progressively responsible office experience.
