Degree and Area of Specialization: Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience: Familiarity with financial aid, student employment, and resources on a college campus. Previous experience working with college students of diverse backgrounds. Must have strong organizational and planning skills. Also must have strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively. Successful candidates will also possess a working knowledge of basic computer programs such as Word and Excel.
Position Summary: The Student Employment Administrator will work in concert with the Student Employment Coordinator on the effective administration of the Student Job Center, Payroll, and Employment partnerships impacting students on our campus. This individual will be an innovative, forward-thinking individual, who will have the capability to reconcile accounts as well as perform outreach functions. As a participant in the team responsible for all Special Awards on our campus, this person is also expected to contribute to the daily operations of that team while working effectively with both student employees and full time team members. There is a strong desire to have an individual who also has strong skills in their ability to document processes to continue the forward vision of the Student Job Center.
