Job Summary: The School of Social Work invites applications for two Academic Professional positions to serve in a field coordinator capacity in our Field Education office. These academic professional faculty positions will include recruitment and evaluation of appropriate field learning sites; placement of students in practicum sites, field liaising; and teaching multiple field courses. Extensive travel to field sites in both the Athens and metropolitan Atlanta areas is required.
Minimum Qualifications: The successful candidates must have a MSW degree and a minimum of 5 years of post-graduate social work practice experience; must have knowledge of field education. Salary will be commensurate with background, experience, and record of achievement.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experiences in teaching, administration, student supervision, and a working knowledge of the Council on Social Work Education 2015 Educational Policies and Accreditation Standards are desirable; social work license strongly preferred. Linkages, knowledge, and/or experiences in the professional social service community of metro Atlanta and in the Athens area are also strongly desired.
