York College of Pennsylvania seeks a dynamic and visionary professional to lead a comprehensive undergraduate student recruitment program.  The Director of Admission provides direction and oversight in implementing a strong, customer service oriented admissions model.  The Director is responsible to develop strategies to attract, recruit, and enroll a highly qualified, talented, and diverse student body in a manner that supports the College’s recruitment, admissions, and retention goals. 

We are seeking a Director with a solid grounding in admissions, with a passion for assisting students to succeed, with experience in leading a dynamic recruitment program and its operations involving members of the College communities, and with a dedication to providing continued quality improvement within an office of experienced and qualified admissions professionals.  Our new director will work innovatively and collaboratively with the many constituents of the College community, internally and externally, and as part of the enrollment leadership team.  The Director of Admission reports to the Dean for Enrollment Management.

Requirements: 

The successful candidate must have outstanding interpersonal skills and experience, expertise in the administration and management of recruitment programs, demonstrated proficiencies in information technology appropriate to admissions offices, and a commitment to the core values of a private college or university.  A Bachelor’s degree is required, Master’s preferred. Successful candidates should also have a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in admissions or enrollment including management and supervisory roles, and preference will be given to candidates with relevant advanced degrees.
