Solutions Architect .Net Pharmacy Systems
Key Skills/Must Haves:
- 10 years' of integration experience from a .NET environment
- Pharmacy System experience
- Willing to travel 50% within the US
The Solutions Architect defines the technical architecture of the final solution for each external client. These duties would include data mapping, workflow design and technical design of integration solutions in consultation with key internal and external stakeholders and the final handoff of the solution to the project managers responsible for implementation of the solution. Where necessary, the incumbent will be responsible for delivering code to assist with deliverables for the implementation - we need someone very hands on technically who's not afraid to roll up their sleeves!
•Consult with clients to scope, design, document, implement and deliver system solutions
•Work directly with customers to create data mappings and resolve other related semantic issues involved in architecting the solution.
•Understand and augment the application and integration architecture standards and reference models for Pharmacy solutions.
•Define architectural standards and anticipate areas where architecture standards may need to be developed that are in-line with client, IT and industry.
•Create, socialize, and maintain strategically-aligned solution architecture roadmaps.
•Identify risks, gaps, and appropriate alignment of current state capabilities.
•Analyze technology industry and market trends, and determine their potential impact on the enterprise.
•Communicate the solution architecture process ensuring all parties have an understanding of the pharmacy dispensing system workflow, its outcome and ongoing results.
•Oversee the implementation of solutions and enforce the use of standards for all integration between applications.
•Write system integration planning and implementation documentation.
•Maintain exceptional client relations to ensure a smooth implementation.
•Configure and/or develop integration interfaces to meet customer needs.
•Consult with application or infrastructure development team to align systems or infrastructure to the defined architecture, and identify when it is necessary to modify the solution architecture to accommodate project needs.
•Document all architecture design and analysis work.
•Work closely with Program Management, Software Engineering and Infrastructure teams to ensure alignment of client deliverables.
•Ensure proper visibility and traceability of technical decisions.
•Work closely with IT Software and Hardware Engineering and vendor implementation teams to provide technical direction and oversight throughout the lifecycle of project delivery.
•Strongly desirable that the candidate have Pharmacy Information System experience
•Degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited educational institution.
•Ability to consult with the client on business process directives and recommend solutions
•Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret client business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
•Ability to work independently while handling multiple projects with changing priorities and deadlines
•The successful candidate will have specified and implemented cross-platform web services, adapters, factories and facades that interoperate between Windows and Java environments.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Proven organizational skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers and subject matter experts
•Strong leadership skills and technical aptitude that inspire team confidence and respect
•Highly fluent in multiple Web Service, WS-I standards, design pattern and technologies including: WCF, C#, .NET 4.0/4.5
•Min. 10 years integration experience in a .NET environment
•Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL
•Experience working in an Agile environment
•Experience with Enterprise Service Bus architecture (i.e. Azure) and messaging (AMQP) or equivalent
•Familiarity with video conferencing including protocols such as SIP
Experience in the pharmaceutical and health industries including policy and regulatory requirements will be an asset
