General Summary
The Area Coordinator plays an intricate role in fostering the Learning Organization philosophy of University Housing Services, the Area Coordinator makes the appropriate decisions and/or recommendations to the Associate Directors regarding the management and supervision of an area of the residential campus. The Area Coordinator supervises and assists in the development of professional staff and key student leaders in a specified area of campus, chairs one University Housing Professional Staff committee, serves on one University committee and assists in projects designed to enhance the quality of student life for on campus students.

This is a 12 month position with an annually renewable contract and an anticipated maximum of 5 years.

Required Qualifications
1. Master's degree (US equivalent).
2. At least three years of full-time (post Masters) experience in residence halls required at time of hire.
3. If this position is Security Sensitive or if you are subject to a criminal background investigation based on University policy, employment is contingent upon you passing a satisfactory criminal background investigation. You may not begin work until the criminal background investigation results have been received and cleared by Human Resources.
