PT Music Instructor
Pay for this position is $2,100 per 3 hour credit course per semester.
Positions will be available at Wharton, Sugar Land and Richmond Campuses for day and evening
The hire date for this position is Summer/Fall 2017.
The permanent responsibility of a faculty member is to provide the most effective instruction
possible in his/her discipline. Supervision is received from appropriate supervisor. The faculty
member works to insure that his/her instruction is meeting the educational needs of students.
This position requires a minimum of a Master's Degree (in Music or other discipline) with 18
graduate hours in Music. This position requires credentials that meet minimum requirements for
teaching at the postsecondary level set by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools,
the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, the Texas Education Agency, and accrediting
agencies for individual programs. A criminal background check is also required.
