Biology:  Manager of Bioscience Inventories to serve as the business manager for the Department of Biology; perform daily operational and financial functions of the department, including: a large volume of purchasing and accounting transactions related to departmental, college, and external grant accounts; maintains databases and spreadsheets to monitor purchasing activity; reconciles accounting reports; supervises the biology storeroom; serve as liaison with business units on campus; supervise a full-time storekeeper, two senior program assistants, and a part-time student employee.

Require:   Bachelor’s degree and three years of appropriate experience in purchasing and accounting, or the equivalent combined amount of education and experience.  Desire: Experience in higher education purchasing and accounting systems, database management, and supervision of employees.
