This position performs the financial reporting function of the University Comptroller's Office. Working under the direction of the Associate Comptroller, this position is primarily responsible for the preparation of the University's annual financial statements and footnotes, as well as other external reporting to State and federal agencies.
In addition, this position will have a key role in the development of new internal managerial reporting under the Managerial Reporting project and UBI.
The position will serve as an expert on the University's financial accounting system and its underlying data, providing strong analytical support in order to ensure the accuracy of financial data.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong written and oral communication skills; advanced analysis skills; ability to synthesize information; ability to navigate University databases and systems; must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and advanced working knowledge of Excel functionality. Ability to direct and indirectly influence a diverse team through collaboration.
