General Summary of Position:
The HR/EOO Assistant reports directly to the Lead HR/Payroll Representative. The HR/EOO Assistant coordinates the flow of incoming visitors by determining the nature of service, resolution of general inquiries or referring to the appropriate staff member. Assists with verification of hiring paperwork, benefit information and providing phone and mail support.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):
-High School Diploma or G.E.D./equivalent
-3-5 years of administrative experience
-The ability to work effectively with diverse groups
-Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively handling confidential information
-Ability to work independently
-Demonstrated experience with computerized office applications including word processing, and spreadsheets, Microsoft Office preferred
-Familiarity with PeopleSoft desirable
-Experience in Human Resources and Higher Education preferred
-Notary Public preferred
