Assistant Technical Director - McAlister Auditorium

Job Description Summary: This is a full time 10 month professional position reporting to the Director. This person is responsible for assisting the Director in overseeing all of the day-to-day operations of the auditorium. Event responsibilities for McAlister Auditorium include patron services, technical services, and housekeeping services. This employee is responsible for organizing, and directing the installation, maintenance and operation of all sound, stage lighting, and theatrical equipment in the facility. Work includes selection, assignment, and evaluation of personnel, ordering supplies, and controlling equipment and supplies inventories. Minimum Qualifications: Considerable experience in all phases of stage and theatrical work including rigging, sound, lighting, video, stage techniques and maintenance activities required. Competent in Microsoft Office, E-mail and standard internet technology.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor Degree with 1-3 years experience in related field preferred. Experience in a public assembly facility is desired.

Salary Grade: Level 2 $23,000.00 - $34,500.00
