Job Description
Under general supervision of the Assistant Dean for Finance, administers, monitors, and manages sponsored awards and budget management activities as assigned within the College of Pharmacy Business Office. Analyze and summarize financial information and prepare reconciliation of contracts and grants for the College. Acts as post-award grant manager and prepares and assists with financial and non- financial managerial reports, and financial analysis in coordination with the offices of Contract & Grants, and SAM. Meet with PI's and Assistant Dean for Finance to plan and coordinate spending compliance. Provide PI's, on a regular basis, a summary of their accounts and analysis of spending within budgeted categories and projections based on current expenditures up to the projected end date. Use resource information to advise PI's concerning scheduling of resources for completion of award, on time and on budget; provide current and projected financial data to executive management as requested.


Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree and 1 year relevant program experience, or bachelor's degree and 3 years relevant program experience.

Knowledge/Skills/Expertise:
Knowledge of University's Policies and Procedures. experience with university software (Accounting Intranet, PeopleSoft, Banner). Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability analyze financial data, records and reports. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to interact with faculty, students and staff of diverse cultural backgrounds. Ability to exercise discretion in handling confidential financial matters.
